Just a casual post because I had a spur of motivation to blog. I just want to notate at this moment in my life, I am surrounded by some of the most wonderful, unique, inspiring people I have ever met. If I did not have these special individuals to inspire and share their perspectives and advice, I don't think I would be where I am today.

I am healing. I am growing. I am learning.

I am so grateful for the life I have.

Everyday is a chance for change, isn't it? There are so many times that I tell myself I am going to pursue something, but end up hesitating or not trying at all due to uncertainty and fear. This past year has been a year of learning lessons and reflection. In more recent weeks, I have surprised myself with what I am capable of doing and what I am capable of envisioning.

To those of you who don't know I am a college student pursuing my Bachelors of Science in Retail & Fashion Management. Now, now, before you begin your thoughts of, "You're going to school to become a manager?"...NO, I AM NOT. It was really a poor label the school has assigned to us fashion majors! It really places a stigma! Getting back on track... For a while I have been feeling uninspired and had lost all motivation to complete my degree. I had so much tension, worries, and fear of completing it. Various events happened, and I realized the root of my problem... Well, not root, but it certainly affected my drive and passion.

I am a person who thrives on competition, independent activity, and for the most part solitude. There was just something in my life that was just holding me back and creating a negative space for growth. There was certainly a lot of love and support, but not the drive I needed to keep myself motivated. I do not regret that period of my life; because I just view it as one of the many wonderful experiences I have been blessed with in this life. I have been released from it and I couldn't be more excited for what is in store for me from here on out.

My head is turning around into the right direction again. I know that I am capable of pushing myself to extremes. If I am not suffering enough, I am not working as hard as I should be to get to where I want to be. I will keep moving forward, reflecting on myself, improving myself, and all of which will make be better. I have visions which I will create into realities. I am independent, I am strong, I will overcome anything. Everyday, I want to remind myself and others of what they're capable of. So let us all keep pushing and searching for our answers and finding our places in life. It may take some time, trial, and error, but we will get there.

Good luck everyone & see you soon~!

Today I decided to cancel my Audible membership because I just haven't had the time to keep up with my books. I felt that it was a little wasteful to keep paying each month for an app I didn't have time for. Just as I was about to cancel my membership, they offered 50% my membership for the next three months ($14.99 down to $7.49). As tempting as that was, I canceled anyways. But I do give Audible props for caring about their customers! I just couldn't keep this to myself, I just thought it was lovely. x) If you're into audio books, definitely check out Audible!

This totally sounds like a plug, but I really want to give brands the recognition they deserve! I love great customer service and someday I hope to be a part of a business that values its customers above all. Just look at Amazon and Zappos! Of course they are branches of each other but they have gone above and beyond to become the trusted brands that they are today. I think they are certainly good stops to visit when shopping this holiday season!

I know this post is really unusual coming from me, but there is so much that I have been unable to share with you all due to a variety of reasons. It will eventually reveal themselves in the future (hopefully soon).

In the mean time I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their holiday season!

See you soon~!

Honestly, its been over a year hasn't it since I've last blogged. Nearly two years have passed since I promised to show you all my first trip back home (Hawaii)! There has been so much I wanted to show to you all but I somehow grew lazy. I wonder if I should save that for a different post, or would I just grow lazy again? HA, who am I kidding!? Of course I would probably keep pushing it back.

First things first, if you're reading this and do not know me my name is Jessica! HAJIMEMASHITE~! The URL may seem odd if you're new... I've taken up the name "lovelyaiko" since I was in the ninth grade. It's seems a little silly now that I am in my twenties, but it was such a large part of my life, it's hard to let go! I could possibly be making another blog move, but we'll see. OH, and OKAERINASAI~! to of my returning readers! In the past I wasn't too big on using random Japanese throughout my posts, but when I reveal everything it should make sense!

Oh dear, where to begin? *deep breath* .... Okay. Looking back at old posts there wassomething I meant to reveal at the beginning of last year; here it is: I AM CURRENTLY MAJORING IN FASHION! What an exciting year it has been for me. I transferred out of CSN and am now attending the Art Institute! I've met so many amazing and creative people here. Sadly, I've lost contact with some people very dear to me, but that is just pure laziness on my part. *ahem* Happy thoughts, happy thoughts!

I have a few thing to attend to, but I promise I will be back soon with more exciting things to tell you guys. I shall end this with shameless self-shots(if you followed me in the past, the new photos might come off as a shock if you notice something~~~) :D

SEE YOU LATER~~~!
